El Dr. Rodrigo González Saldía es investigador de COPAS Sur-Austral y actualmente es profesor asistente de la Unidad de Biotecnología de la Facultad de Ciencias Naturales y Oceanográficas de la Universidad de Concepción donde fue Jefe de la carrera de Ingeniería en Biotecnología Marina y Acuicultura entre los años 2004 y 2009.
