Andrés Sepúlveda


Dr. Andrés Sepúlveda holds a Bachelor Degree in Physics from the University of Chile and a PhD in Physical Oceanography from Old Dominion University, United States. He was a postdoctoral Fellow at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, United States and a Visiting Researcher at Laboratoire d’Oceanographie Spatiale, France. His main areas of interest are Atmospheric Forecasting (MM5, WRF) Coastal Ocean Modeling and Forecasting (ROMS, WW3), Physical-Biological Interactions He is an associate professor and the Head of the Geophysics Department of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Concepcion, Chile.
